Gestalt Switch Expeditions aims to enrich your exploration and understanding of earth's marine environment through experiential learning. We routinely visit some of the most pristine marine habitats on the planet and are adamant about exploring new, often remote, locations to seek the unknown and obtain a better understanding of the unity and diversity of life. It is our hope that, after participating with at least one of our expeditions, your perspective of the world's oceans, its myriad inhabitants, and how humans use its natural resources will be altered.
We believe that complete immersion in the marine environment enables a better understanding of these ecosystems. Descending beneath, or floating on, the ocean's surface creates a sense intimacy that cannot be fully captured by books, film, or media. As such, our expeditions typically involve the use of SCUBA and/or snorkel equipment to observe and interact with the diverse array of organisms that make the sea their home.
With over 25 years of guiding experience, as well as intimate knowledge of marine biology and ecosystem processes, SCUBA instruction, underwater photography, and video production, Gestalt Switch Expeditions provides you with a refreshing approach to exploring the aquatic realm.
